0:00The core function of LYRC is to create lyric templates which saves your cut markers and your lyrics perfectly timed, perfectly spelled. So you only really curate that one time and then you can continue using that template to create new videos with different visuals, different presets, the whole nine yards.
0:17So in order to do that just click new template and you're gonna start by adding an audio track. Lyric templates are built off of audio so once you have the audio you can't change it. There's not really a reason to because the
0:29lyrics and the cut markers are both synced to that audio track. The content that LYRC makes is primarily meant for short form promotion so there's not really a point to doing more than 30 seconds. I feel like it's a lot harder to
0:41get someone to watch for more than 30 seconds at a time. In fact I would recommend keeping them as short as possible to try to get the best results. So the first step is to just select the snippet that you want to promote. It's
0:52usually like the hook or you know maybe a verse but you're gonna want to start it pretty much on the first bar. So you also don't have to choose one of these presets they're just there so you can grab this and move it manually however much you want as long as it's 15 to 30 seconds. You can use these little plus and
1:14minus signs to bump it just so you can time it up perfectly. That's good. So now I'm gonna save that. I would recommend that you save it as the song name. For the
1:24transcription method I would always recommend doing studio grade it's gonna save you so much time. The sync and the actual lyrics are gonna be so much better than the quick sync. I would always go studio grade and I would also always
1:37recommend auto generating cut markers. You'll see why. So just like that LYRC is going to find the transients in our beat and you'll see they line up pretty well with like kicks and claps and 808s so it's just gonna give you a starting place for
1:52where you want your slots to be. Each of these are a slot so when we create an actual lyric video each slot is gonna be a different clip. So this is without any edits to the lyrics or the cut markers this is what it looks like.
2:03yeah so as you can see like it's pretty much there right it's like 90% of the way there I might want to change a few cut markers just adjust it to taste so if I wanted to do that let's say she never gave me I want to move that one because it's a little right it should be on the clap so I'm just gonna go over here and you'll
2:33notice it turns white so that means these sliders right here if you drag them they'll change the amount of cut markers and so the pink is the low end the blue is the mids and the yellows are the highs so you'll see that's where like a lot of hi-hat hits are. When you move one it becomes white it will not be affected by
2:54these sliders anymore. If I wanted to delete one I would just select it and then click delete on the keyboard. If I want to add a cut marker I can just click the add cut or the keyboard shortcut for that is M and another cool thing is that
3:07say you had like no cut markers here you could just play the track and click M as it goes and it'll place the cut marker so like that I kind of liked it how it was so I'm just gonna go back by hitting control Z that's gonna undo and then to redo it's control shift Z okay so it's pretty much perfect I just noticed that
3:34it combined two words I don't know why I didn't think runabout was a full word but anyways if you wanted to split that you just go over here you click right between the words and you hit space and it's gonna create two different word blocks so now you'll see it splits these so there's a couple different ways to
3:53edit lyrics you can just go in here and you know delete it if you want to delete a word off the timeline you just select it click delete for here it's you know the runabout to be historic so you could go over here you could just type two also hitting enter is going to create a new word block over here which is not really
4:14that important but it can matter for the lyric presets later on these things so so this is B and you just click out and then it changes stoic just make that historic click enter and if I wanted to delete two lyrics at a time I could just hold ctrl and then select it's gonna highlight both of them you know I can
4:41move them all if I want to highlight every lyric ctrl a and I can just move them like that if you want to change the timing of two lyrics at a time you just grab it right in between or if you want to change the timing of one but it's connected to another one you just highlight it and you drag that edge
5:00that's pretty much it if you need to zoom on the timeline control and scroll on the mouse will do it or you can just grab it here if you want to add a word somewhere you can just do it like that you have to make sure that this is off of another word otherwise it won't let you another way to do it if you're over here
5:19you can just click space on a word and it's gonna add one right after you can change the presets over here I definitely think heartless is the best and you can change the colors on it to whatever you want you can turn the emojis off this template will be used as like a base for every project that you create after it
