0:00All right, so once you've created your first template, you're just going to go up here and click new project. It's going to give you two options. You can either do a beat synced one, which was the whole purpose of doing the cut markers, or you can do freeform, which will
0:13just give you no cut markers. You'll be able to edit it like a freeform video editor, such as CapCut. I always recommend beat synced because it speeds up the process so much and you can always add or remove cut markers without affecting the template. So here's what you do. You just create
0:30a beat synced project and there you go. So now we have this template with empty slots and obviously we want to fill these slots with videos. When I click this button, it's going to fill all these slots down here in like a couple seconds. But as of right now, it's set to use all of my clips in my
0:50library. So in order to filter that, you can just click the filter by category. And all of this is exactly what's in these folders. So I'm going to go down to Pexels stock and we're going to go with
1:03nature. I'm just going to click fill and you'll see what happens. Boom. Just like that.
1:09She never gave me a warning. A lot of the time I'll get something, but I don't really like it. It doesn't really do anything for me. So I'll just shuffle it again. So I like that one a lot better,
1:25but I don't love this first clip. I think it could be a lot better. Right. So what you can do is you can click on any of these clips in the timeline. And if you're hovering over it, it's going to show
1:34you this menu. I can manually adjust where I want the clip to start from or what I'm going to do instead, because I just don't like the clip is I'm going to click the shuffle button. So any of these
1:44clips that are not already used, it's going to choose from. So I'm just going to keep shuffling this until I find one that I like. Let's go with that one. She never gave me a warning. I saw the
1:57signs and ignored them. You could be done right here. Right. That's a completely viable post for Instagram. But you'll notice that it's using 16 nine clips to fill a 916 frame. So it might be a
2:08little blurrier than you want it to be. Right. Once you click on a clip, you'll notice over here, you have the visuals tab. Say I want to make all of these clips fill just this area. What I'm going
2:20to do is I'm going to say, apply to all, and then I'm just going to go fit. And now all the clips. I like that. You know, you can scale it from this menu. You can move it up and down, left and right.
2:37You can also, if you only want to apply it to this clip, then you can do that as well. Maybe I want a little background. It's just going to duplicate, you know, the videos that are on screen. Also,
2:48if you notice a little lag in the playback, that's completely fine. It's going to export perfectly no matter what. You can do black background, subtle, heavy, medium. I think the lyrics are a little too big. So I'm just going to bring them down. What's also great about the editor is you can,
3:03if you see a clip you like and you want to use that specific clip, you can just drag it right in here and it's going to replace it. You can lock a clip if you like it so that when you shuffle, all of these ones will change, but the ones over here will not. Another cool thing you can do is
3:23throw a text hook on there. You can shuffle where there's a massive library of text hooks and you can choose, you know, how you want it to look. If you wanted to change the text hook, you could just
3:33type it in here, click save and boom. You can change the aspect ratio. If I was going to change it to 16.9, I would not have the text hook on. If you want to zoom, you can just grab that. I'm
3:48going to keep it there. I'm going to bring the lyric size back up. I'm going to change the color of the highlight. This is a really cool preset. It's very underused, I think. So this is an example where
4:03you might want to throw the hold until next word on because you don't want these gaps, right? You kind of just want the lyrics on the screen at all times. There's a few other features that I'll show you. You can use all these presets. There's a ton of different settings that you can do to customize
4:24your video. But if I were to go to any of these tabs, it's going to tell me that a preset is controlling everything. So the way to not do that is to obviously switch to none. So now the preset is
4:39on none and I have a lot more control over how I want this to look. I really think the knockout color is cool. You know, you can do single word. You could do multi-word. If you're using multi-word,
4:50the more you drag the size up, the fewer words it's going to show. And you know, it's all calculated. You can change the color. You want to do gradient. You can add an outline. You can add a drop shadow.
5:02If you want to do an animation, there's currently a couple different in and out animations and constant one. That'll pulse to the beat. Beat pulse will pulse. You know, flow will. You can add up to two at a time as well.
5:20But yeah, there's a ton of settings that you can play around with here to get your lyrics how you want them. And by the way, if you're doing this on a template, it'll save it to the template. So you'll
5:30only have to do it once if you have like a really specific type of lyric that you want to show. Yeah, this is pretty nuts. If you thought it ended at hard cutting. No, no, no. You can actually add
5:41transitions and filters. We got effects coming soon. But say I want to add a filter. It's going to put it right on the timeline there. I'm going to go over here on the timeline and bring it up. And it's
5:53going to apply that effect to all the lyrics as well. Yeah, you can adjust the length as to where it shows up. If you throw the little magnet on, it's going to snap to the lyrics or the cut markers.
6:04Whatever's closest. Say I want to delete it, you know, just highlight it, delete it. I want to use a different one. You can also just trade them out pretty easily by just clicking the plus while having this selected. If you want the effect on, but you don't really want it that intense, you can just
6:20bring that down. All right. So you'll notice there's a cut marker right on this 808. And I think it would hit pretty hard if there was a transition. So I'm literally going to grab this 808 slam and drop it
6:32right there. Or if I want to be lazy, I can just hit the plus button. So you'll see now when I play this, it's going to have a little shake effect on the 808, which is pretty dope. And you can also
6:45adjust the length if you want it shorter. It's a little more of a pop. You can do it from down here on the timeline. A lot of this is modeled after CapCut. So you'll notice a lot of similarities.
6:59And you know, there's a bunch of different effects that you can curate and you can change the length of them. But if you're looking for just quick inspiration, or maybe just a quick video, you can click the generate for smart effects. And now it's going to add different filters,
7:20and it's going to add different transitions as well. These up here determine how much of the timeline gets covered. And you'll notice after you drag it and drop it, the higher you have the sliders, the more there will be. The filters are separate. So you can, you know, hit that re-roll as many
7:41times as you want. It's going to give you something else. I usually put the filters to off. If you have a lot of 808s and drums, maybe you want to use the impact. If it's more like fast, you can use flash.
7:51I usually just go auto. I'm just going to click the re-roll and we're going to see, we're going to see what happens. Sometimes these will lag during playback. You know, like that's a really, that's a really fast transition. So you might not always see it
8:14on the preview, but just know if it's on the timeline, it will export out as you see it on the timeline. Even if the preview lags, there's going to be no lag in the export. I'm content with that video. I really like it. I'm going to go back here. All fit. And I'm going to throw my tech
