0:00All right, so here's a template that I've already curated. I'll just play a couple seconds of it. So I know that that's set up exactly how I want it to be. Again, just click Create Project.
0:12And you can easily go back and forth between all your templates and your projects just with these. And if you want to switch back to the template for any reason, you can just do that. Another way to access them is through the Lyric Videos page.
0:25So here are all my templates. If I wanted to edit one, I could go here and click Edit. If I want to create a new one, I would click New Template. If I want to make a new project, you click into any of the templates and you can click a new video.
0:41All right, at this point, you're probably like, nice. You got a bunch of stock footage, right? Like 2,000 clips. But you probably want to personalize your lyric videos, right?
0:51So you can do that through the Import Clips tab. It's worth noting that this is available in the editor, but you can also see all of your clips on the Clip Library page. It works the same way if you were to do it in the editor or if you were to do it on the Clip Library page.
1:05You're going to want to find a nice compilation video. This is what these videos typically look like. You know, it's just a bunch of clips from the movies put together. But if you were to download that, have to go through and manually take apart every clip, that's kind of just a massive waste of time.
1:21So what LYRC does is you can copy the URL, bring it into LYRC, and paste it. I can choose what folder I want to throw this in, and I can auto-split. LYRC is actually going to scan the entire video and find which little clips are where.
1:39And then, you know, so it found 68 scenes in that one 4-5 minute video. Now all I have to do is click Extract All, and it's going to go to work. But this will literally just take, you know, a minute or two.
1:52You can track the progress or you can just leave it down there so you can keep roaming around in LYRC. So it's just going to keep running in the background. I'm going to go back to my video. See, it's importing 38 out of 68.
2:05It's actually almost done. And there we go, 68 clips added. There we go. It's in my movies.
2:11That's all the clips from the video. Now I have these 68 clips that I can use for any future video. This is not just for this one template, for this one project. You know, I can use this for this song.
2:24I can use it for this song, this song, you know. In order to use it, I just got to go to my user. I'll go to movies, and I'll find the Fantastic Four. There it is.
2:34Now they're all loaded in. I'll hit shuffle, or I'll hit fill. And there we go. We have a lyric video.
2:44By the way, these are just proxies. So if you don't know what that means, they're going to look a little blurrier than they actually will come out. And that's just so that it saves space in the browser. Otherwise, you're going to have videos lagging all the time.
3:01If it looks blurry in the preview, just know that the export will be fine. If you have a long video, you can also just upload it here. So say I have a three-minute music video on my hard drive, right?
3:10I can upload it here, and it'll give you the option to run the scene detection and split the clips from that video as well. So it's not just limited to YouTube or whatever online URLs. And then, of course, if you want to just upload your own clips, you just have like 10 that
3:27you want to do. You can do that as well. You can upload a folder now, and that'll automatically be put as a folder in here. If you need to create a new folder, you just click that button.
3:37If you want to, you know, delete a clip, you just click that. It's going to give you the option. Yeah, and these work the same exact way. So if you wanted to just drag a clip in, you can do that.
3:51One other thing that I should probably mention is that, you know, you're not limited to just one folder. If you want to do the Fantastic Four and Spider-Man and Avatar, you can do all three of those. It's going to have all three selected, and it's going to randomly pull from those folders.
4:12Actually, it's not entirely random. It's actually pretty intelligent. It'll never duplicate a clip unless it absolutely has to. Only clips under eight seconds.
4:22Eight seconds or under are available for the shuffle, because otherwise, if you have, you know, 50, 30 second clips, the memory is just going to completely botch your computer, and it's not going to work. So it is limited to eight seconds.
4:37But yeah, that's how you import clips into LYRC, and you can use them forever.
