Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

This Acceptable Use Policy outlines what users are not allowed to do while using LYRC. By using the platform, you agree to follow these rules.
1. Prohibited Content
You may not upload, create, generate, or distribute any content through LYRC that involves:
1.1 Illegal Content
- Copyright infringement
- Pirated media
- Unauthorized commercial music or assets
- Content banned by local, state, federal, or international law
1.2 Harmful or Dangerous Content
- Violence, threats, terrorism, or organized crime
- Self-harm encouragement
- Dangerous activities intended to injure others
1.3 Hate, Abuse, and Harassment
- Racist, hateful, or discriminatory content
- Bullying, threats, or abusive behavior toward individuals or groups
1.4 Sexual Content
- Pornographic content
- Explicit sexual imagery
- Content involving minors under any circumstances
1.5 Deceptive or Misleading Use
- Deepfakes of real people without consent
- Impersonation or identity fraud
- Fraud, scams, or phishing
- Misinformation intended to cause harm
- Attempting to pass off AI-generated content as real footage, photography, or human-made content when doing so is deceptive
- Using AI-generated celebrity or likeness content to create false impressions or fake endorsements
- Failing to disclose AI-generated nature when legally required to do so
- Using AI character generations to simulate real people in misleading contexts
1.6 Malware / System Abuse
- Uploading malicious files
- Interference with LYRC's servers
- Attempts to overload, scrape, or reverse-engineer the platform
2. Prohibited Uses
2.1 No Exploiting the Platform
You may not:
- Use LYRC to create content designed to mislead people
- Bypass credit usage, billing systems, or backend processes
- Attempt to automate the platform in a way that overloads servers
- Abuse free trials, promotional credits, or signup bonuses
2.2 No Unauthorized Access
Users may not:
- Access accounts that are not theirs
- Share login credentials
- Circumvent security measures
- Attempt to access admin/moderation panels
3. Content Ownership & Responsibility
- Users are responsible for the content they upload or generate
- LYRC does not monitor all uploads, but reserves the right to review, remove, or disable content that violates this AUP
- Violations may result in account suspension, content deletion, or permanent ban, with or without warning
4. AI Content Disclosure Requirements
Content generated through LYRC is AI-generated or AI-assisted. When distributing or publishing this content, you must:
- Disclose the AI-generated nature of content when required by applicable laws (including California AI disclosure requirements and the EU AI Act)
- Not claim AI-generated content is "real," "authentic," or human-made when doing so would be deceptive
- Not remove or obscure AI disclosure labels or watermarks when legally required to maintain them
- Take responsibility for compliance with disclosure laws in your jurisdiction
4.1 AI Character & Likeness Content
LYRC's features allow generation of AI characters, including celebrity-style generations. These are intended for:
- Entertainment and creative expression
- Parody and satire
- Promotional and marketing content that is clearly AI-generated
- Artistic and educational purposes
These features should NOT be used to:
- Create content that could reasonably be mistaken for real footage of a person
- Simulate real people in misleading or harmful contexts
- Create fake endorsements or false statements attributed to real people
- Harass, defame, or harm individuals
The legal landscape around AI-generated likenesses is evolving. You are responsible for ensuring your use is lawful.
5. Reporting Violations
If you see content that violates this AUP:

Include links, screenshots, or project IDs when possible.
6. Enforcement
LYRC reserves the right to:
- Remove violating content
- Suspend or terminate accounts
- Withhold credit refunds
- Notify authorities for serious legal violations
- Block IPs, devices, or regions if necessary
All enforcement decisions are final.
