A lyric style is more than the font. It decides how words enter, share the frame, change emphasis, and hand off to the next phrase. LYRC’s preset library includes simple word treatments, mixed-font compositions, layered layouts, and arrangements built from your saved lyric blocks. These are presets designed and built for LYRC’s editor.

What you can make

26 presets, different visual languages

Choose Heartless, Duet, Margin, Uplift, Full Set, Ticker, Redline, Relay, and more in Style → Preset. Desktop filters group Minimal, Bold, and Layered looks; favorites make the styles you use easier to find. None turns the preset off and is separate from the 26 styles.

Arrangements shaped by the lyrics

LYRC’s newer presets use your timed words and phrases to build a sequence across the song section. The layout can change with the phrase instead of repeating one identical entrance on every line. Review it against your actual recording.

Variation where the preset supports it

Eligible presets show a Variation button. Create another arrangement while keeping supported font, size, and highlight choices. LYRC saves the arrangement you choose so it plays back consistently.

Controls that belong to the selected look

Settings shows supported controls rather than a universal list. Depending on the preset, adjust fonts, size, highlight, alignment, or background treatment. Margin offers alignment, Relay can hide its colored backgrounds, and Redline can switch its inverted knockout treatment.

Choose a style, then make the next version

Set up the song section
Upload your song, choose the short section you want to post, and review the transcribed words and timing. Save that setup as a song template.
Choose the movement
Open Style → Preset in the desktop editor. Try a style against the actual lyrics, then use Settings to adjust the controls it supports.
Try an arrangement and review it
Use Variation if it appears. Check fast phrases, long words, and the handoff between lines. Quiet, Afterglow, Soft Spoken, Afterimage, and Relay use fixed recipes and do not offer that button.
Build the video around it
Create a project from the song template and add footage. Reuse the template for another visual version, then preview the full edit before exporting.

Stencil and Brick are landscape-only: selecting either moves the project to 16:9. Every other lyric preset supports both 9:16 and 16:9. Build and preview for free; exporting requires a paid plan and uses its export allowance. Eligible paid accounts can purchase extra exports with credits.

Common questions

Is a lyric preset the same as a song template?

No. A preset controls the lyric look and movement. A song template stores the audio section, timed lyrics, cut markers, and styling so you can create multiple video projects from the same song setup.

Which lyric presets support variations?

Duet, Margin, Uplift, Ticker, Letterpress, Full Set, Redline, Tiled Wave, Ladder House, Rails, Deep Focus, Overdrive, Airplay, Heartless, and Brick support variations. Quiet, Afterglow, Soft Spoken, Afterimage, and Relay have fixed recipes. Fly, Knockout Glow, Wave, Pikachu, Brat, and Stencil do not offer the Variation button.

Will a variation change while my video plays?

No. LYRC saves the generated arrangement. Playback uses that saved result. Pressing Variation on a supported preset asks for a new arrangement.

Can I change the font and colors?

Yes, where the selected preset supports those controls. Available settings differ by preset, and some styles use one font role while others expose two. Review the final result before exporting.
