• Approximate location (city-level, not precise)

This information helps us keep LYRC reliable, secure, and fast.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide and operate the LYRC service
• Authenticate your account
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Process your content through third-party services to generate AI-powered videos and images
• Improve features, performance, and reliability

We do not currently sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.

Content you upload or create on LYRC may be processed by third-party AI providers to generate videos, images, transcriptions, and other outputs. You acknowledge that:

• Your content is transmitted to third-party AI services to provide the generation features
• These providers have their own privacy policies and data practices
• Some AI providers may use content to improve their services unless you opt out through their platforms directly
• LYRC cannot fully control how third-party providers handle data once it is transmitted to them

We do not disclose the specific AI providers we use.

3. How We Store and Protect Your Information

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:

• Encrypted connections (HTTPS)
• Secure password hashing
• Permissions-based access controls
• Isolated infrastructure
• Continuous error and performance monitoring

While no online service is 100% risk-free, we take significant steps to safeguard your information.

4. How Long We Keep Information

We retain:

• Account information as long as your account is active
• Content you upload and generate until you delete it or delete your account
• Analytics and error logs for operational and security purposes (typically 90 days to 2 years depending on the type)
• Billing records as required for tax and legal compliance (typically 7 years)

If you delete your account, we remove your personal information and content except for data required to comply with legal or financial obligations.

Note: Content processed by third-party AI providers may be subject to their own retention policies, which we cannot control.

5. Email Communication Preferences

What You Receive Automatically

When you create an account, you agree to receive:

• Critical system emails (password resets, receipts, service alerts)
• Product updates and announcements

Unsubscribing

You may unsubscribe from marketing and product update emails at any time using the link at the bottom of the email.

You cannot unsubscribe from essential security or transactional emails.

6. Analytics & Tracking

We use privacy-friendly analytics to understand how LYRC is used and improve performance. Our analytics tools:

• Do not use invasive tracking
• Do not use cookies for analytics purposes
• Do not collect personal identifiers for analytics
• Provide aggregated, anonymized usage metrics

Analytics data is always collected to help us maintain and improve the platform.

LYRC uses minimal first-party cookies for:

We do not use marketing, advertising, or third-party tracking cookies. Our analytics tools do not use cookies.

8. Referral & Affiliate Data

For users in the European Union or United Kingdom, we process your data based on:

• Contract performance: Processing necessary to provide the LYRC service you signed up for
• Legitimate interests: Processing for security, fraud prevention, service improvement, and analytics
• Consent: Where you have provided consent for specific processing activities

Once processed, your account and personal data will be removed except for information required by law (e.g., billing records).

If you are located in the European Union or United Kingdom, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority if you believe your rights have been violated.

11. Children's Privacy

LYRC is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 (or the minimum age required in your country to use online services). We do not knowingly collect information from children. If we learn that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of the page. For significant changes, we may provide additional notice via email or within the app.
