- Credits are deducted when you start a generation or use a paid feature.
- Payments are processed securely through a third-party payment provider.
- All prices, plans, and credit costs are subject to change, but we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of major changes.
- Refunds are handled according to our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

5. Content You Upload
You keep ownership of all content you upload or create with LYRC, including audio, lyrics, images, and videos ("Your Content").
By using LYRC, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to:
- Store Your Content
- Process Your Content (e.g., to transcribe audio, render videos, or generate visuals)
- Transmit Your Content to and from our service providers as needed to operate LYRC
We do not claim ownership over Your Content.
You are solely responsible for:
- Making sure you have all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions
- Ensuring Your Content does not infringe anyone else's rights or violate any law
5A. Video Clipping and Remix Features
LYRC provides tools that allow you to upload video files, import video from external URLs, extract clips, and create remixed lyric videos using your footage ("Remix Features").
5A.1 Your Responsibility for Video Content
By uploading, importing via URL, or clipping video content through LYRC's Remix Features, you represent and warrant that:
- You own all rights to the video content, or you have obtained all necessary licenses, permissions, and clearances to use, edit, and distribute the content
- The video content does not infringe any third-party copyrights, trademarks, publicity rights, or other intellectual property rights
- You have the legal right to create derivative works from the video content
- Your use of the video content complies with all applicable laws and regulations
5A.2 URL Import Feature
LYRC allows you to provide external URLs to import video content. When you use this feature:
- You are directing LYRC to retrieve the video content on your behalf and at your instruction. LYRC acts solely as your agent in performing this retrieval.
- You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to download, copy, and use the content located at the URL you provide
- You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the URL import feature complies with the terms of service, license agreements, and any other applicable terms of the source platform or website
- You acknowledge that many third-party platforms restrict or prohibit automated downloading of their content, and it is your responsibility — not LYRC's — to ensure your use is authorized
- LYRC does not verify, validate, or confirm that you have the right to download content from any URL you provide
By providing a URL, you confirm that you have reviewed and accepted the terms of the source platform and that your download is authorized under those terms.
5A.3 LYRC's Role and Limitations
LYRC is a neutral technology platform that provides tools for video editing and remixing. We do not:
- Pre-screen, review, or approve video content before you upload, import, or clip it
- Verify that you have the right to download or use content from URLs you provide
- Have control over which videos users choose to upload, import, or clip
- Make any representations or warranties about the legal status of content you upload or import
- Grant you rights to any third-party content
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the right to use all video content you upload to or import through LYRC.
5A.4 Prohibited Video Content
You may not upload, import, or clip video content that:
- Is commercially produced or distributed content you do not own or have license to use (e.g., movie clips, TV shows, music videos owned by others)
- Contains unauthorized use of copyrighted material, trademarks, or celebrity likenesses
- Infringes any third-party intellectual property rights
- Was obtained through unauthorized screen recording or content piracy
- Violates the terms of service of the platform or website from which it was sourced
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this section, including in response to valid DMCA takedown notices.
5A.5 Copyright Claims and DMCA
If you believe content on LYRC infringes your copyright, please submit a DMCA takedown notice as described in our DMCA policy at lyrc.studio/dmca.
LYRC responds to valid copyright claims and may terminate accounts of repeat infringers in accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
6. Generated Content & Ownership
LYRC uses third-party AI models to generate:
- Lyric timing and transcriptions
- Visual effects and style images
- AI-generated video content
- Performance videos with AI characters
- Other related outputs
6.1 Ownership of Your Inputs
You retain full ownership of the content you upload to LYRC, including your audio files, lyrics, images, and video references ("Your Inputs").
6.2 Ownership of AI-Generated Outputs
AI-generated content is produced by third-party AI models that LYRC does not own or control. Regarding ownership of generated outputs:
- Output ownership follows the terms of the upstream AI providers (such as OpenAI, Google, and others)
- LYRC does not claim ownership of AI-generated outputs
- Copyright protection for purely AI-generated content is legally unclear under current U.S. law
- Users cannot claim exclusive copyright on content that is purely AI-generated without significant human creative contribution
- The legal status of AI-generated content ownership is evolving, and you should consult legal counsel if you have specific concerns
6.3 No Guarantees on Generated Content
Because AI systems are probabilistic and operated by third parties:
- We do not guarantee accuracy, correctness, or completeness
- We do not guarantee that generated content is free from errors, mismatches, or artifacts
- We do not guarantee that generated content is free of third-party rights issues
- AI outputs may inadvertently resemble copyrighted works, trademarks, or the likeness of real individuals
You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before use and for obtaining any necessary rights or clearances before commercial distribution.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use LYRC to:
- Violate any law or regulation
- Infringe copyright, trademark, or any other intellectual property
- Generate or distribute hate speech, harassment, or threats
- Promote violence, self-harm, or illegal activities
- Upload or generate sexually explicit or pornographic content
- Upload malicious code, attempt to hack, or disrupt our systems
- Impersonate any person or entity in a deceptive way
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts, remove content, or take other action if we believe you are violating this section.
8. Service Availability and Changes
LYRC is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.
We do not guarantee that:
- LYRC will be error-free or uninterrupted
- Any particular feature will always be available
- The service will always be accessible from every region or device
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of LYRC at any time. For users outside the United States, performance or availability may vary, and we do not guarantee consistent access from all countries.
9. Third-Party Services
LYRC uses third-party service providers to:
- Host infrastructure and storage
- Process payments
- Provide analytics, logging, and security
- Process or generate AI-related outputs
- Send emails and notifications
By using LYRC, you agree that your data and content may be processed by these providers solely to operate the service. We choose providers that follow industry-standard security practices.
We do not publicly list all providers or disclose detailed technical infrastructure in these Terms.
9.1 Third-Party AI Model Providers
LYRC uses third-party artificial intelligence models and services to power video generation, image generation, style transfer, transcription, and other AI features. You acknowledge and agree that:
- These AI models are developed, operated, and maintained by third parties outside LYRC's control
- LYRC does not guarantee the accuracy, appropriateness, or legality of outputs produced by these AI systems
- AI outputs may inadvertently contain content that resembles copyrighted works, trademarks, or the likeness of real individuals
- You are solely responsible for reviewing all generated content before use and obtaining any necessary rights or clearances
- Your content may be processed by third-party AI providers in accordance with their respective terms and privacy policies
- Some AI providers may use inputs and outputs to improve their services unless you opt out through their platforms directly (LYRC cannot control this)
- LYRC is not liable for any claims arising from the outputs of third-party AI systems, including but not limited to intellectual property infringement, defamation, or privacy violations
We utilize the capabilities of third-party AI models as they are made available to us. Whether our specific use cases align with each provider's original intent is subject to interpretation, but we only use features that are not explicitly prohibited by their terms.
10. AI Content Disclosure & User Responsibility
Content generated through LYRC is AI-generated or AI-assisted. You agree to:
- Disclose the AI-generated nature of content when distributing or publishing it, as required by applicable laws
- Not attempt to pass off AI-generated content as real, authentic, or human-made when doing so would be deceptive
- Comply with all applicable disclosure laws, including California AI disclosure requirements and the EU AI Act
- Take full responsibility for how you use content generated on LYRC
LYRC is not responsible for how you choose to use, distribute, or represent AI-generated content. Any legal consequences arising from your use of generated content are solely your responsibility.
10.1 Performance Videos & AI Character Generations
LYRC's performance video feature allows generation of AI characters, including celebrity-style characters. You acknowledge that:
- AI character generations are intended for entertainment, parody, creative expression, or promotional purposes
- Such content should be obviously AI-generated and not used to simulate real people's likenesses in misleading contexts
- These capabilities come from third-party AI models that allow such generations
- LYRC does not endorse using AI-generated content to mislead, deceive, or harm anyone
- You are solely responsible for ensuring your use of AI character content is lawful in your jurisdiction
The legal landscape around AI-generated likenesses is evolving. If you have concerns about a specific use case, consult legal counsel.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- LYRC and its owners, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or reputation, arising from your use of LYRC.
- Our total liability for any claim related to LYRC will not exceed the total amount you paid us in the three (3) months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless LYRC and its owners, employees, and contractors from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of:
- Your use of LYRC
- Your Content
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any third-party rights or laws
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to LYRC at any time if we reasonably believe that:
- You violate these Terms
- You misuse the service
- You engage in fraud or illegal activity
- Continued access would create risk to us or others
You may stop using LYRC and close your account at any time.
Upon termination, your access to Your Content and generated content may be limited or removed, subject to our data retention practices and applicable laws.
14. International Users
LYRC is operated from the United States. If you access the service from outside the U.S.:
- Your data may be processed and stored in the United States or other locations
- You are responsible for complying with local laws in your country
- We do not guarantee that the service will be available or legal in every country
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or LYRC will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Tennessee, USA, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do:
- We will update the "Effective Date" at the top
- We may provide notice via email or within the app for significant changes
- If you continue using LYRC after the new Terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
